Add Mailchimp Signup Forms on Twitter
I stumbled across this killer combo earlier this week, and I had to share this with you. If you use Mailchimp for your email marketing platform, you can add your signup form to your Twitter account. Wat’s really awesome, is if you want to grow your email list, and you have a small to medium budget, you can create a Twitter Ad with your Twitter card, which has your signup form embedded in it. When I came across this, I was blown away. I don’t spend a lot of money on paid advertising, but when I do, I want to make it count. Imagine promoting your signup form to highly targeted, highly interested people on Twitter. In the video below, I show you where to go to find this, and I show you how to add Mailchimp signup forms on Twitter.
I can’t believe I haven’t heard more about this. Either I stumbled across a well-kept secret among rockstar email and social media marketers, or this is so new that no one is aware of it. I’ve already seen a good increase in subscribers, even on a relatively small budget.
To start getting this set up, go to your Mailchimp account and click on Lists. Then, go to signup forms and click on the last of the three options, which is called integrations. The next page that pops up has a section just above the fold that gives you instructions on how to set this up, and gives you the id and information that you’ll need for your own Mailchimp account.
